As John Beer announced this afternoon at the July general meeting, the Medical Detection Dogs Charity, that was represented by Geoffrey Farrer-Brown at our April meeting, is up for an award offered by the Masonic Charitable Foundation – the size of which is determined by the number of votes they receive.
While we cannot possibly suggest that you vote for the Medical Detection Dogs Charity, or that you even vote at all, it is worth noting that the voting period will close on the 31st July (Monday). So if you are going to vote for the Medical Detection Dogs Charity, or any other, of course, DO IT SOON!
Voting for, say, the Medical Detection Dogs Charity could increase the award which could rise to a staggering £25,000.
